NEWSWIRE: Artist Andrew Lakey returns to the studio in January 2010 to commence work on his newest collection of Golden Angels, which are water gilded in 22k gold leaf. Each work will be numbered from Golden Angel #1 - #2000. It should take 5 years to complete this collection.

Andrew Lakey has also contributed the Foreword to the 2010 biography "You Don't Know Me: Reflections of My Father, Ray Charles," by Ray Charles (Jr.) Robinson and Mary Jane Ross. In March 1990, Ray Charles became the very first collector of Andrew Lakey's artwork, commenting to Lakey, “Please share your artwork with blind children and people all over the world."
